We are looking for self-motivated, results-driven people interested in an outside Sales career of personal development and growth with the largest direct mail company in the country.

 

At MailCoups Direct, a Valassis Company, we have outstanding advertising sales opportunities available in northern New Jersey in Morris and Essex counties.

 

Our Marketing Consultants enjoy an established selling process and outstanding training commitment. Consultants provide a suite of proven advertising solutions for local businesses to increase their business, add new customers and drive store revenue.

 

Our advertising brands include SuperCoups and RedPlum. This is a competitive sales position with a clear objective of consistently meeting sales quotas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prospect and generate leads from various advertising sources.
  • Contact leads via telephone and in-person cold calling for the purpose of setting appointments.
  • Meet prospects to evaluate advertising needs and present the SuperCoups® and RedPlum™ programs.
  • Use sales tools, program/product information and mapping to demonstrate programs' ability to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain and improve sales from existing accounts while expanding volume and frequency.
  • Develop marketing plans for selling new accounts and expanding market penetration.
  • Quote prices and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.

Service accounts by assisting in receiving ad copy, preparation of advertising layouts and ad proof corrections.

Client base accounts receivable management.

Monitor and report on competitive activity.

WE SEEK:

Marketing/Advertising Sales Consultants who have:

  • Sound and seasoned knowledge of selling techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Strategic account planning
  • 2 - 5 years of direct selling & prospecting experience
  • Personal transportation
  • If you work/ have worked for any of the following businesses or within these industries – we need to talk to you:
  • ValPak, Money Mailer, United Marketing Solutions, any Trader Magazines, Newspapers, Radio, Yellow Pages, Yellow Book, Idearc, Clipper Magazine, Cash Register Tape.

REQUIRED SKILLS :
  • 2 - 5 years of direct selling & prospecting experience
  •  Sound and seasoned knowledge of selling techniques
  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills
  •  Consultative Selling Skills
  •  Strategic Account Planning
  •  Computer literate in Microsoft Office
